Purge Closed A/P Records (P04800)

Q. Do we need users off the system if we are planning to run the Purge Closed A/P Records (P04800) over specific G/L dates?

 

A. JD Edwards World recommends that users not access A/P records while the Purge Closed A/P Records is being run. As part of the process, the program looks at each record regardless of the G/L date to determine whether it will fit the criteria for purging closed records.
