UNICODE Migration for 11i

Hi All,

We are planning  to upgrade to Unicode (UTF8) migration the current 11i Applications(11.5.10.2) Instance.

We might move to R12.1 or R12.2(Fusion) soon and hence we would like to convert our current 11i to UTF8, so that our environment will support the unicode characters.

I went through all related metalink articles, and understand that as per 222663.1  "AL32UTF8 is not certified for Oracle E-Business Suite 11i."

Is it suggested still to proceed for converting 11i database to UTF8 and later convert UTF8 to AL32UT8 after upgrded to R12?

Can somebody throw light on this and appreciate, if could suggest me the SUPPORTED method to move to UNICODE for 11i(11.5.10.2) keeping sight of future upgrade to R12.
