R12.1.3: How to switch contract status automatically for contracts on grace period

Hi,

Most of our contracts will have a 3 months grace period. Since the grace period is not visible in the SR form, i was thinking about switching the contract status from Expired to "Grace Period" and then create another independent condition to switch it back to Expired when the grace period is over.

I can see that the independent condition can handle the action contract status update, however, there are no outcomes that can do the status switch.

Does anyone know how to handle this?
