Need By date in IR changes automatically after ISO is created.

We are using R12 Purchasing module.

We created an IR on 7-Sep-2012,by providing sysdate as need by date.

The IR got created successfully with need by date as 7-SEP-2012.

Later when ISO got created, the need by date got changed as 10-SEP-2012 in IR, the schedule ship date in ISO was 7-SEP-2012.

Has anyone come across this scenario? Do the following setups influence this:

1) Post Processing lead time in Source and Destination Org

2) Profile option : POR : Days Needed by
