Hi

Customer is  planning to migrate  production instance Applications Stack from RHEL 4.4 to OEL 4.8.

After completing the test migration :

They have copied the old logs and out files into the current $APPLCSF/$APPLLOG and $APPLCSF/$APPLOUT directories.  In addition, they have also updated the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table to replace source values from columns LOGFILE_NODE_NAME. OUTFILE_NODE_NAME, LOGFILE_NAME, OUTFILE_FILE to the new target node values.

However, while viewing the old log or out files of the requests which were run on source, They get the following error

“An error occurred while attempting to establish an Applications File Server connection with the node FNDFS_BIPRDDB. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener on node FNDFS_BIPRDDB may not be running.”

Howdy, Stranger!
