Schema gather stats

I need a small clarification about the Schema gather stats in oracle 10g

I am trying to collect gather stats for the schema which is having 128 GB size, My question is how much space required in TEMP (tablespace) space for this activity because today I tried and it is failed with fowling error message.Please help me to fix it EOD

ERROR at line 1:

> ORA-01652: unable to extend temp segment by 64 in tablespace TEMP

> ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 13591

> ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 13937

> ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 14015

> ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_STATS", line 13974
