Cost Manager failed

Hello,

We run the Cost Manager every 5 minutes (navigate Inventory, Setup > Transactions > Interface Managers, Tools > Launch Manager).  It ran from 7/23/2012 to 9/9/2012 when it failed.  Prior to this, it failed twice in a similar way.  The log file (almost 19 MB in size) shows error:

APP-FND-01564:  ORACLE error 12537 in AFPCOA

Cause:  AFPCOA failed dule to ORA-12537:  TNS : connection closed.

I logged an SR previously and applied patch 13075737.  I just re-opened the SR today.  The error is also similar to the previous failure.  My take on this problem is the log file got too large;  i.e., every time the Cost Manager run, it update the log file.  Log files cannot grow indefinitely!!!
