Hi,

We have a two node cluster (Production Box). We have few unused LUN's in them and want to reclaim it back. The Zpools that use these LUN's have been removed from the Cluster HASP resource.

We  plan to do it without any downtime and have given below the steps which we intend to follow.

1. Destroy the Zpools using the LUN.

2. Scrub the SCSI-3 reservation keys from the LUN's.

3. Unmap those LUN's from storage to the host.

4. Remove the unusable devices from the controller using "cfgadm -c unconfigure -o unusable_SCSI_LUN <AP_ID>" .

5. Run "devfsadm -Cv" to clean up the device entries from OS.

Howdy, Stranger!
