Large BLOB, possible to see if I can shrink the datafiles after reducing its size?

Hi,

We have big BLOB. It takes up a lot of space and there are more than 90% reclaimable space (and will most likely not grow so much again).

If I export/drop/import or ALTER TABLE the BLOB, will I then be able to reclaim the space on disk? Can I somehow determine that before I do anything with the BLOB?
