Warranty dates on purchased products

Hi,

I have requirement to add Warranty dates for each product that we purchased.

When we purchase product, supplier offers warranty for the products. Is there functionality to define Warranty dates against each product purchased? Warranty will be applicable once when we recieve product from supplier.

When there is a problem with that product we want complete detail information about warranty details with effective dates so that we can get benifit of the same.

This is important in terms of cost.

I tried to do it with Subcontractor Logs (P4305) but not sufficient to match up actual requirement.

All suggestions will be apperciated.
