iostat for ASM-managed disks
The following questions are posted in support of a query on the deprecated OTN Exadata Forum:
QUESTION
===============
As you know that the ASM disk is discovered by the idb protocol on the DB node it is not present in iostat output on the db node of the exadata and I was wondering if we can monitor iostat without going into the db instance or using any awr views ( something similar to iostat would be good). I know about asmiostat.sh but was looking if we can use some OS in built toll to capture the iostat look like that is my option currently
