GeoCoder Window with Employee Master Changes

in JDEdwards World (MOSC)

Q: Why does a GeoCoder window come up when a change is made to an employee master record forcing a change to an employee's tax area?


A: Processing option 7 behind the Employee Master allows for different methods of assigning tax areas.  If the processing option is set to a 2, the GeoCoder will be used.
