HR: Cross Business Group, HR: Business Group, HR Organisation linkages

Hi all, a couple of R12 HR security questions could someone please help :

1. I wondered where i can set the  HR: Cross Business Group  profile, and can I use it without having security group security? This is  to do the things like:

o    Supervisor-based hierarchies: an employee in one country  can supervise another - you can nominate that person even though that person may be in a different business group and no longer necessary to duplicate supervisor's details in more than one supervisors to be chosen for employees who belong to a different Business Groups;

o    Approvers to be selected in Purchasing or iProcurement by a requester who belongs to a different Business Group
