Hello,

Oracle doc "Solving Convertible or Lossy data in Data Dictionary objects when changing the NLS_CHARACTERSET [ID 258904.1]" Step D1 explains about how to clear EPVALUE of SYS.WRI$_OPTSTAT_HISTGRM_HISTORY.

My question is What is the negative impact in executing DBMS_STATS.PURGE_STATS ?
