Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. PSU and CPU patch for RAC database.

Hi Team, Good Morning.

I would like to apply the CPU or PSU for our RAC database which are running on SUN SPARC(SunOS 5.10 )

and Linux 4 so i would like to know

1) What need to carry out as a DBA before start the patch for RAC Env?

2) Do i need to apply the pathch(PSU or CPU) for ASM and CRS home?
