Create Counter automatically

You can configure the application so that when you make an entry to the installed base of equipment will automatically create a counter reading? As is the way to configure for items entering the first instance they create a counter reading. At the time of unpacking relationship with your serial is entered to the computer installed base but I have not read counter and I have to manually assign creearlo and.
