Exadata compute node system partitions
Hi,
I've noticed on our new Exadata machines that the root drive on the compute nodes does not have separate partitions for /var /usr /tmp /opt and /home. Separating these partitions would seem to be in line with best practices for any Linux installation. Is this normal? Is there a reason it was setup this way?
Thanks.
