Custom Web page which displays Oracle Query results -> Needs to Auto Refresh in Specified time frame

Hello,

I am looking for a simple solution which allows me to develop a webpage -> connects to the Oracle applications Data base (11g) -> Executes the query provided -> Publishes the query results on the web page; This cycle should be made as AUTO REFRESH for every 5 minutes.

We use Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.10.2) and trying to have a link to this custom page in the Oracle Applications LOGIN page (Page that displays "Logon Options for Oracle Applications 11i"). Kindly assist me.
