Solaris boot problem - only GRUB prompt is shown

 hi

after a Solaris 10 9/10 installation with ZFS, and a reboot, the server keeps staying at

GRUB

in the upper left corner on the console.

So I booted into Single user Shell. The OS detected one instance 'rpool' and imported it r/w mode mounted at /a .

I tried
# installgrub stage1 stage2 /dev/rdsk/c0t5d0s0
# installgrub stage1 stage2 /dev/rdsk/c0t6d0s0
# bootadm update-archive -R /a

and this helped for one further reboot, after that - same situation, again only GRUB is shown (?)

If I take a look at /boot/grub/menu.lst, it is empty. The file is not editable, because read-only.

Howdy, Stranger!
