Access to AD from Linux

Hello,

I´m a newbie when it comes to Linux, so please have som understanding ;-). I have a Linux machine that I need a domain user to have admin rights over. The Linux machine currently don´t have any AD connection setup. Shall I use Winbind to set up the connection to the AD so I can give a domain users access to the local linux user group? Please advse me how this should be done...
