how to remove secondary standby database and update dataguard configuration file

Hi
  We have a 10gR2 4 node production database with two standby database sites running at two different data centers.  Now the business wants to retire one standby database site at one of the data centers. We are looking for a kind of documentation on how to achieve this and how to edit/update the data guard configuration when data guard broker is enabled (dgmgrl).  Any kind of help or insight or advice is very helpful.
