Changing revaluation reserve amount

 Hi Guru'sCurrently in our Assets we have revaluation amount for all the assets. Client wants to get rid of these amounts. I am able to update the same and it also says transaction complete I record applied but despite that when i requery it does not change.

Please let me know any pointers
