Deleting bank statements

There is a duplicate bank statement with 800 odds lines which has been brought in Oracle CM by mistake.

Is there a way to remove the lines / statement manually? The lines are unreconciled.  tried to use the 'red x' delete option, which does remove a line, but this means that the lines totals no longer balance on the header page
