Can't configure SybaseIQ as Datasource for BIPublisher

Hello People!
We need to configure a SybaseIQ 12.7 as Datasource for BIPublisher. 11.1.1.6.2BP1

After uncomment the lines in jdbcdefaults.xml, to enable access to the SybaseIQ12, the datasource can be configured inside de BIP Admin page, JDBC Configuration.

However, after filling the options, the test connection fail with a generic message:

"Could not establish connection."

Nothing pops up on BIP log, either.

Database Driver Class (BIP native): com.sybase.jdbc3.jdbc.SybDriver

Connection String: jdbc:sybase:Tds:172.16.0.191:2642?ServiceName=odshml

For instance, the database is up and running, username and password corrects, and connection between BIP Server and DB are fine. Everything checked twice.
