ASM Storage Calculation

Hi,I am trying to understand how to calculate the storage when it comes to ASM with normal/high redundancy diskgroup. For simplicity and testing purposes, I am considering to store 4G of data into my ASM diskgroup with normal redundancy. How many 1G disks should I buy and what should be the format of failgroups (create 2 failgroups or keeping each disk into its own failure group).
