how to find out what removes arhive logs?
Hello,
Solaris 10, Oracle 10.
We have 2 processes responsible for archive logs removal.
Backup process removes unconditionally all file older then 10 days, the other removes files older then 7 days if a trash hold size is reached.
The problem is that we have no archive logs older then 3 days. The question is, what removes archive logs?
I thought it was cronjob but it's not, I checked.
Can RMAN be set up to remove archive logs older then X days automatically? How to check it?
If it can not, any idea how to monitor archive log directory and to find out what process removes files within?
