Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Automated Backup and Backup Jobs

While I install oracle 11g release 2 the installer asked me :-

if I want to enable or disable automated backups for my database. if enabled, then the backup jobs uses

the specified recovery area storage

Please help me to get knowledge about

1- the automated backups

2- the recovery area storage
