Oracle compression vs. ZFS compression

Hi all,
our customers are using the basic compression the EE enables. A few weeks ago we were moving the 3.4TB database over to compressed zfs. Our compression ratio is at about 3.5 as a average.

No the question comes up if we should uncompress all tables/partitions which has been compressed before to increase the compression ratio. We have done some tests with different results which confuses us a little.

Are there some case studies or investigations about this topic?
