Pricing on Promotion - Recommendation

Hi,

We have a requirement where we have to define pricing on the Promotion record. It may get extended to using other pricing functionalities like attribute adjustments,Discount matrix, Aggregate discount etc on the Promotion record itself.

Can Promotions be be used as normal products for Pricing purpose? Any major foreseen issues which might occur by using this? Is this recommended?

If the Pricing can be associated to the Promotion through Administration - Pricing > Price list and if this is recommended way to have pricing for promotion.
