I am being asked by my employer to address recent articles about such as this one: Oracle Authentication Vulnerability Enables Trivial Password Cracking found at

Has this been discussed by the community and I just can't find the community post?

Has Oracle released any statements or positions about this possible exploit?

Has there been any official and/or non-official proposed solutions by Oracle or the Oracle community?
