hot backup and archive log

The database version is 11.2.0.2 on solaris 10.

Since this database is rather small about 10g. I run hot backup (not rman). My question is say for example: I run full hot backup every Wednesday after at 3:30pm. I also run archive log backup every day at noon. After the new hot backup every week, to which date of the archive logs can I delete?

Say: I have a full hot backup at 9/19/2012 and I will have another one at 9/26/2012

Will it be safe to say that I can delete any archive logs that is dated before 9/19/2012 at  the backup time? Please advice. Thank you very much.
