To Change The Account Type From Expense To Liability

Hi,

I would like to give the credit to One account from Payables Module using Internal Bank Account.

Account(eg 00334) already defined long back with account type as expense and same account has been debit while creation of invoice. Now client would like to give the credit to this account(00334). I have to create the Internal bank account with same account(00334).

Internal bank account type should be liability else Payable accounting entries may get fail.

 

If i modify the account type as Liability type from Expense type. what is the impact on existing transactions and future transactioins

 

As per my knowledge, Should not modify the account types once defined but i would like to achieve the requriement.
