Customer getting IB error when tesing an item shipped for a Contract does not get recorded in IB

VPC Team member opened this thread for the customer.

The error is "You have passed an invalid combination of the Validation Organization and Inventory Master Organization  or the combination does not exist in Inventory tables."
Per Metalink; there's one direct hit: "Install Base Master Note: CSI_INVALID_VLD_MAST_COMB [ID 1332885.1]".  This note states that patch # 1231573.1 (12.1.2 - Project Contract Shipment (CSIOKSHP) - 1231573.1 - Patch) is needed.

Doc ID: 1231573.1 indicates applying patch 9900096.
This has been completed as evidenced by the following file versions:

csimsg.ldt 120.102.12010000.30
csipitxb.pls 120.22.12010000.10
csipitxs.pls 120.3.12010000.2

"Support:
It seems that even with the last patch 9900096 applied to PTCH instance, the install base (IB) record for a Project Contract shipment didn't get the IB status updated.
