Changing WE8ISO8859P1 to WE8ISO8859P15

Hi,According to the note [ID 257722.1] : "You can't simply go from WE8ISO8859P1 to WE8ISO8859P15 because these aren't binary supersets."
Nevertheless, one of our software publishers exported data from a WE8ISO8859P1 database to a new WE8ISO8859P15 database.
Did data corruption occured and how can I verify it ?
