Restoring level 0 hotbackup to DR site.

Hi all,

My question concerns restoring a level 0 hotbackup from my Production RAC (2-NODE 11.2.03 WINDOWS 64-BIT) to my DR Single instance (11.2.0.3 windows 64-bit) server. Both databases are in archivelog mode but DR is a cold site. Is it possible to restore to a point-in-time using a level 0 backup if you have the archivelogs that followed. Or must you also have a level 1 incremental to apply up to. In other words, if I perform a level 0 in production and after doing so 8 hours of archivelogs are generated, can I restore the level 0 and then apply the 8 hours of archivelogs.
