Renaming all servers in an JDE E1 installation

Has anyone ever renamed all the servers in their JDE E1 installation?  The main challenge is identifying all the places in the installation where server names would need to be changed.  The context in this case is E1 9.0 on servers running current supported versions of MS Windows O/S and SQL database.
