PAY: Retro Costing where pay period overlaps 2 months
Question regarding the periods in which RetroCosting are posted to when you have a pay period that overlaps 2 months.
Scenario
Processed Pay and have run Transfer to GL for pay period 7 2012 Bi-Week (15-Sep-12 to 28-Sep-12).
Then advised that Cost Centre 100 should have been Cost Centre 200.
I now make changes and run RetroCosting with the start date of 15-Sep-2012 and end date of 30-Sep-2012 as I want the retro costing changes to be included in the SEP-2012 accounting period.
When I run Transfer to GL for the next pay period 8 2012 Bi-Week (29-Sep-2012 to 12-Oct-12), would it post my above retroCosting entries into SEP-2012 or would it automatically post everything to the end of the current pay period being OCT-2012?
