Restrict report based on parameters

Hi all,
      I have a different requirement..

Say I have a inventory xml report and parameters for the report is 1. From_org  2.To_org.

there are 100 organizations. when the user tries to run the report from org 1 to org 100, it is taking time to run the report.

Moreover it is consuming more cpu space.

So, when the user gives such kind of parameters, then I want to restrict the report to run for first 1-5 orgs at once..done, then 6-10 orgs and so on...

Hope you understand my requirement
