Backend configuration of the models through Config API, for migrating the existing product from diff

in Configurator - EBS (MOSC) Question
 Hi,
We need to configure the already existing models from different database  from backend through CIO object.
we want to include the config.save  after the migration in the java code.
can anyone please suggest me,how to do the backend configuration.
