need explanation on version parameter in 11gr2

Hi All,

can you please explain the use of version parameter in datapumo with examples,i know it is used while taking export if you want to create a dumpfile which should be imported into a DB which is lower than the source DB.

version : compatible,latest and version_string options,please help me with an example for latest as it was bit tricky.
