 Hi All,

I have a Sun Fire V120 server which is having two hot swappable disks.

        0. c1t0d0

       1. c1t1d0

And my current situation is “c1t0d0” is faulty one as checked in iostat and metastat output and I need to get it replaced.

Now I come to know (using prtconf –pvv|grep disk) that server is booted from “c1t0d0” disk (which is faulty) so do I need to reboot the server from the second disk (c1t1d0) before the replacement?

  OR

Its okay to remove the faulty disk “c1t0d0” from OS end and the server will not be down that time as its mirrored with other disk?

Howdy, Stranger!
