Taxpayer id is null for organization type = INDIVIDUAL

Hi,

We upgraded our system from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3. I verified taxpayer id between 11i and R12 for indiviadual organizations. R12 Taxpayer id is not shown from Supplier entry form as well as from data base table ap_suppliers. Is it a standard functionality? If so, how to make taxpayer id visible for supplier entry form.  Please advise.

I read one note from Oracle and it says as below:

"If the Organization Type is Individual, the taxpayer id is usually the SSN number of the supplier and therefore, this information is not displayed in the Inquiry form.  It will only be visible in the Supplier Entry window as fewer users have access to this form.
