Employee DBA Instructions - End Date vs Delete
When an employee makes a change to their 401K withholding we end date that DBA on the employee instruction form and enter a new item for the DBA with effective start date. Is this the common practice or should we be deleting the DBA instructions and then entering the DBA again?
I have an SR open on an issue we are having with a 401K report not pulling the correct employee contribution rate since employees have multiple records (some end dated, one active) in the employee instructions. Oracle is telling me that the report is functioning as designed because when the DBA is changed it should be deleted and not end dated.
