Oracle Grid Database

I need a second opinion. We are planning to perform maintenance on the host server hosting Oracle Grid database. I wonder if I could shutdown this database like others using SQL> shutdown, and then I will switch the Oracle services in Windows and restart the server. After that when maintenance is done, I will enable the Oracle Server and just restart the server again. Do you think it is ok?

Thank you!
