How to create image for Red hat Linux Red Hat 4.1.2-44 x86_64

  Dear All,  We need to create image as backup...how can we do that..

  OS is independently running on the a server. How to creating a clone copy of the entire OS and files to external Hard Disk Drive or to other linux server on the network.
