Can we safely run ADSSTATS.SQL ?

To make a long story short : we switched using Gather Schema Stats from option GATHER to GATHER_AUTO, because we had problems with the GSS request which kept on running for days and days.

Since that switch, very few objects are being analyzed now (it takes around 20 minutes to complete). Which is good and bad news. The bad news is that stats in our 12.0.6 environment are messed up now (imo).

But, we are doing testruns to upgrade to 12.1.3, and on the last run, it seemed that job ADSSTATS.SQL (out of the 12.1.1 patch I think) was running for hours and hours (something around 24 to 30 hours).
