Impdp Daily to Archivelog DB. Any way to minimize logging?

Hi DBAs:

All our databases are in archivelog mode.  Using Data Pump to import of course creates redo.  In 2005, Oracle took bug 4568451 and called a "nologging" option to Data Pump as an enhancement.  MOS shows no update since 2008.

Did we get our enhancement?  I'm short of storage in FRA.  Would the recommendation be to routinely disable archiving, imdp and enable archivelog?  Or does this even make sense?
