Express receipts asking for item number -- why ?

Hello All,

Reposting earlier posting because for some reason my first posting never appeared as a community question.

my Environment:

Oracle apps 12

WMS enabled along with warehouse mobile(scanners)

Question:

Recently express receipt functionality was enabled and for most cases everything works fine except for certain instances the express receipt process on the warehouse scanner behaves like standard receiving process.

Express receipt is used for internal shipment tied to internal sales orders (ISO).

I have attached a word doc with screen shots to explain my question.

The two internal shipments shown on the doc are from same source warehouse going to same target warehouse. The product is coffee manufactured on the same production line, so on the surface everything looks the same yet when receiving under Express receipt for internal shipment the prompt are different.
