Supporting Reference or Journal Entry Description creation - cannot find source

Is it possible to create either

(a) a supporting reference or

(b) create a new Journal Entry Descripton in SLA

from any field in a sub-ledger?  I have been trying to bring through expenditure comment field (EXPENDITURE_COMMENT) from Projects Accounting but cannot find it when I try to assign it.  We are on R12.1.2

Apologies if this is the wrong community I could not find a sub-ledger accounting specific one
