Standard Purchase Order getting approved after a long time

Hi,

I've an issue of PO getting approved after a long time. User did approved once notification reached but for hours the PO seems stuck ' In process' after few hours when i checked back the PO is approved. Issue occurs not all the time not specific to one org/user. But couple of examples are exists.Do someone has any thoughts.
